The Cyber Security Certification course was developed by Dan Locke, a Chartered Engineer with extensive experience in Safety Critical Software, Airborne Electronic Hardware and Cyber Security Certification Certification.
Dan's career spans senior roles at the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, Defence Equipment and Support and Thales UK, including serving as Head of Cyber Security and Software at the Military Aviation Authority, with deep expertise across high-value defence and civil aviation programmes globally.
Dan is also the sole author of Defence Standard 23-015 Part 6, Cyber Security and Programmable Elements, written on behalf of the Land Certification Authority Team. In force since August 2025, Part 6 sets the certification requirements for programmable elements in every new MoD Land vehicle, covering software, hardware, autonomous functions and the security and safety properties of those systems.
Brad leads the commercial and operational side of Coracademy. He is responsible for the company's growth and commercial strategy, its client and partner relationships, and the operations behind the training and tooling business.
Brad also drives the Coratools roadmap, working closely with domain experts to turn regulatory expertise into practical tools such as RegWatch and the wider Coratools suite.
